Oldest regular working mobile phone?

Hi

Just thought I would a question as to who has the oldest working mobile phone in regular use??

The reason for posting is after reading a lot of posts re damaged phones with water damage dissatisfaction with service etc.

To get the ball rolling I am still using my Orange Nokia 6210e classic which was issued to a work colleague in Spring 2000 and it still has the original battery.

It is on 24/7 for my business (construction industry) been dropped countless times, immersed in water (dog bowl) problems so far is a slightly doggy “7” button.

Used Orange as my service provider since initial contract signed September 1996

Currently on OVP virgin tariff and never been able to get a free upgrade on that tariff!

Still, as long as it keeps going I shall be happy - but being a skinflint, I have another 6210e as a spare.

Kind regards to all

    Nokia 7110 - ~ 11 Years
Nokia 3210 - Moms phones, God knows how old (10 years maybe), not in use anymore but works. I think it was the Nokia 3210 anyway, its around here somewhere, was very popular at the time.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

Nokia 7210 from 2002, great little phone. Also have a 8210 somewhere that worked the last time i used it. Another fantastic old phone. Nokia's like the old 3210/3310 were practically indestructible compared to todays offerings. My W800i has lasted very well though

  • I have been using my Nokia 3410 since 2002, original battery, still holds a charge well and it is used every day. I am looking at getting a new phone though, maybe it is time for an upgrade!
