Broadband Advice

Hi!
Recently bought a new house - had to pay the connection fee (£124) to BT (not impressed), now looking for broadband provider. The Talk-Talk option isn't available in my area, and it seems that there is still a lot of teething problems with it anyway. Looking to see what other options I have. I'm on the BT Option 1 - re Martin's advice. Does anyone have any suggestions as to good broadband providers?
P.S. What do you know about Madasafish - are they any good?

Hello. I'm sorry to hear you had to pay such a high BT connection fee, just another example of the postcode lottery they are playing with, but that's a totally different issue.
I'd try the following:
a). Uswitch.com and have a look through their broadband search.
b). One of my lines are with the tiscali 1Mb offer for £14.99. I know there are cheaper £9.99 ones out there, and also cheaper 512k offers, but Tiscali stand out for me as having very good and fast Customer Service as well as good features. Just a recommendation for that if you were to consider it.
Cheers and take care.

As with all ISP you generally only hear about the problems that people have but Madasafish Customer Service lady Samara is on hand on MSE to help with any problems and/or questions you might have and she will guide you through sign up on the boards or via pm if you like
