Brake Warning Light-MOT Failure?

Okay...thanks for all your advice so far! It's definitely the brake pad wear warning light and looks like this....
it will fail if that light is on.
if pads and fluid are ok then its a pad wear sensor or as has been said reservoir float switch. all fairly cheap fixes im sure.
cheapest fix of all is to take the bulb out of the dashboard that illuminates this warning light....work permit granted!0 -

As said this light is for many things on most vehicles - on mine it was low brake fluid
The brake fluid is quite easy to check yourself since it'll be the reservoir with "ONLY USE DOT 4 FLUID FROM AN APPROVED CONTAINER" or something like that on the cap
Start the engine first (or so I'm lead to believe, anyway - I always did)0 -

No, you think you know. You are in fact completely wrong. It's the work of a few seconds Googling to find out the answer.0
