Brake Warning Light-MOT Failure?

    if pads and fluid are ok then its a pad wear sensor or as has been said reservoir float switch. all fairly cheap fixes im sure.

    cheapest fix of all is to take the bulb out of the dashboard that illuminates this warning light.

    As said this light is for many things on most vehicles - on mine it was low brake fluid :eek:


    The brake fluid is quite easy to check yourself since it'll be the reservoir with "ONLY USE DOT 4 FLUID FROM AN APPROVED CONTAINER" or something like that on the cap :)

    Start the engine first (or so I'm lead to believe, anyway - I always did)
