    Morning all :)

vixtress- well done for getting on the scales, you can do this (as impressively proved before).

I am struggling to keep my mood up and have let things pile up a bit. This is a pattern that I am trying to break as it definately has affected my weight in the past. Have watched 'loosing it with Jillian' and while I think the shouting is a bit extreme, I totally get the 'whole life' approach she has with weight loss. So I will 'keep moving forward' as Joan Rivers once said!

So off to do a load of paperwork that I have been putting off.
Have a fab day everyone, stay on track :)
Healthy eating aim per day: 3 fruits, 3 or more vegetables, 3 low-fat dairy portions, 3 starch portions, 2-3 lean protein portions.
Weekly aim: to include 2 portions of fish (one oily), some nuts, seeds, beans and pulses.
  • After my non-weight loss of last week I have lost 4 lbs since the weekend!
This is mainly down to the fact that I went camping at the weekend and got sunstroke and felt so ill that I couldn't keep anything down!
But on top of that, I am starting to not think about food as much as I used to and I am trying to keep time aside for exercise.

I hope that I can sustain that amount of loss this week.

    Good luck everyone :D

Hello everyone, I've been busy, been stressed (am better now), been frantic (am better now) and been moving work places (same job new office). I think life is calmer for little while (hope hope) so I'm dropping by to see you all, and say let's just keep going.....

After a weekend of happily enjoying a new chocolate fudge pudding recipe.......

Bfast - Special K (tried it but found it to be very sweet)
Lunch - veggie quiche and salad
    Tea - fish and veggies
    Snack - mango and pineapple
To those who are given much, much is expected

          Food Budget £180/9.30.

            Good Afternoon x
Hope you dont mind but im going to post my food as I go along...
Again no particular set times for eating as and when I feel like it. Im trying to get an idea of what Im actually eating....
3 slices of seeded bread with butter
            Broad bean hummous
            1 dairylea triangle
5:eek::eek::eek: chocolate biscuits (left over from xmas and just found lurking)
1 cereal bar (free with shopping)
Homemade strawberry pie with cream - again using leftovers
Ummmm heavy on chocolate, calories and carbs...might point to why Im easily gaining weight as I dont do any exercise. Any ideas re upping my exercise? It needs to be armchair based.x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Ida Notion Well done for being debt free!
NewlyWed Hope you and the PMT-ing DH are friends again.
Vixtress Good to see you back, well done for weighing in even when you were dreading it, it was the right thing to do. You CAN get the weight off!
CCP I struggle with the scales too, I don't know why I bought new batteries for my digital ones and left them in the living room - now I just want to step on them all the time, before I was only using the Wii and the hassle of it kept the temptation away.
Sams247 Please don't share the choc fudge pudding recipe (but I really really want it!)! Baking and being a good cook really has it's downfalls! I banned myself from making bread and cakes unless we have guests...
Julietthemuse I'd imagine WholeMeal. And 3 stone by August (my birthday too, and my goal date though I started at xmas) sounds a little unrealistic I'm afraid, but there's no reason you can't get a LOT of that off by then. Here's a link with a table showing how long it will take to lose X amount)
My goal was 3 1/2 stone by August 18th and I still have 1 1/2 to go. I imagine I will be close to my goal my then but not reaching it, as the weightloss takes a lot more effort when you get to the last stone!

Sicky baby again today, I'd managed to get the car seat cover back on and seat back in the car (first time unaided, normally get expert SIL to do it for me!) and she was sick as soon as I parked up to do my run so I got a poorly baby a smelly car a car seat to wash AGAIN and missed my run... not happy today!

            Food
Breakfast - One thick slice of granary toast with cherry jam
Lunch - Small piece of HM pizza, half a ham and cheese tortilla wrap (DS left over in lunch box!)
Snacks - Small handful of white choc buttons, I don't even like these. Goahead crispy slices X3. 2 Shape Zero yogurts (creamy and thick for a fat free)
Dinner - Haddock, new potatoes, chargrilled veg.

Hoping I'll be able to get out for my run this evening.

            Hi All

In all my years of dieting I don't think I've never kept an eating diary...wow, it's really making me think twice before I've eaten anything today and so much more aware of portion size. Is a 50g portion of porridge really that small??

            B - 50g () porridge
            L - scrambled egg + 4 Ryvita
D - Tuna, pasta, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, peppers

Very, very hungry today, I'm guessing it's going to take a week or so for my stomach to get used to responsible portion control :o
