Hey there i am on Orange and my contract up up for renewel and i have been waiting for them to get the iphones in stock, i rang them and asked them what dealk they could do for me i wanted a iphone 16 3gs the bes i could see whithout paying for the phone is

i have been with orange for 4years and they said i could not take my discounts i have made up over the years

£5 off pm contract and 10% off pm contract

they said that i would have to pay

O2 do offer discounts on the iPhone however these are refurbished handsets which are offered as retention deals to existing customers.

Apple, if they are not dictating the selling prices of iPhones outright, have a very strong influence on the pricing structure. Apple like to keep control of pricing (face it, which business doesn't) and the fact that the iPhone is a desirable and popular luxury good means they can get away with it.
