can anyone point me in the direction of the recipe for the weetabix cake? I'm probably the only old-styler who has never baked it but thought it was about time I gave it a go. I did try to search for it over on the OS board but can't find it and it's not in the indexed collection.

As it's in the planner, once you've located it can you post it?! Saves me a trawl if you're going that way ;)

MFW is Mortgage Free Wannabe, another board on MSE (it's quite near the top of the list if I remember correctly). Weezl has a diary there

    over to you potty!

also, sorry about this, on the carrot cake survey, no two members of the family seem to be able to give the carrot cake the same number out of 10. Do you know if there's a way we can tweak that, cos obviously I want a whole pile of 10s!!!!;)

I'm not sure you will get 10 out of 10 from everyone to be honest, as everyone is different....
But here is some figures, from completed surveys, so far, for you to muse over ;)
    1. Over 70% used the link

    2. 100% loved the smell ;)
    Over 76% loved the look
Over 92% loved the taste :T
    Over 84% loved the texture
    3. From the original link, there popular opinion is that there is too much oil in the recipe... nearly 70% of those surveyed thought this
Almost 40% thought there was too much sugar.
    4. All would make the cake again, 61% would do so at least once a month.
    5. The majority of the family, would eat this until it was all done :o, followed closely by a couple of times a week.
    6. Marks out of 10.... the lowest was 7/10 :T, the most popular is 8/10;)
    7. The average portions per cake was 27...
    8. The average cost per portion is 7.83p
    9. Most people had the ingredients in their cupboard/fridge , followed closely by Tesco
