Hi Weezl, can you ping me over the version of the spreadsheet with your latest changes in them from last night. I can then do the updates and repost to the workspace
There are a number of versions in the workspace now, is it alright if I delete the old ones? It will get confusing soon0 -

Hellooooo.........from rainy Wales!
What on earth?!!!!!I dont pop in for one day and the challenge as gone all controversial !
Weezl you seem much happier :Ttoday but regarding last nights wobble-
You have just had baby, have a toddler and still have your own life to lead. Of course the planner will never be perfect for everybody. Like you all know I detest sweetcorn:( however I would still do the month just replacing the fritters with something more artybear appropriate. It would not put me off-it would not make me think 'well the planner will never work I would just replace it.
Like Siany (wise women) said there will ALWAYS be things people love, little indulgences. I, myself favour a certain brand of frozen pizza which is ridiculously expensive and probably has no nutritional benefit to me at all:o but i still indulge now and again and would do on the planner. I would not be annoyed that it wasn't included just to cater to an insignificant individual!! And would still feel the planner was a more than a comprehensive guide-I would tweak it to my tastes though.
I think you have to remember that we are planning for a body of people so individual tastes/points of vies/foibles cannot be added to this planner!!!
RE: Healthyness- I think people view healthy food as expensive(which to be honest it can be with fresh fruit/veg) and some people (nobody on this thread thank goodness) like to get on their high horse and declare other peoples diet as rubbish. Im thinking of Mark's thread where a certain person ripped into him for giving his children cheese sandwiches and then cheese on a JP later that day. Really I do not worry about vitamins etc... I try and eat lots of veg and salad-not have take always too much and generally I feel im healthy enough for me. I think thats the most people generally do in this country.
Basically I am saying Weezlie..dont worry be happy!!!
AND the longer it takes to sort out the planner the more time we all have to talk to each other and work on this lovely thread-now that cant be a bad thing can it:T
sorry for the essay

I'm sorry (again) everyone for allowing my emotions to affect the project.
We've always been a happy band haven't we? And everyone has noted how much friendship, cameraderie and generous good spiritedness there is in this team.
I would very much like us to refocus on that (I'm speaking to myself here too).
I really don't want the thread to go down the route of some and become an unhappy place.
I am quite a sensitive person though and so I'm afraid I easily take criticism to heart. But I regret that I do that and I'll try not to and lets move forward, together, but gently for the sake of Bob and Shirl.

Lesley thanks loads for deleting the earlier planners. Would you mind letting me know when you've updated the spreadsheet with the new portions and batches?
Thanks

Dont apologise for your emotions!!! Your a human being (well I really hope so:D) and you are giving alot of your own personal time and energy into this project so I think if you are questioning any aspects then its fine to post it

ok my penneth, for what its worth. Weezl is my friend. I love her. She makes gorgeous babies and has a lovely OH. She is passionate about helping people (like me) who have no money (regardless of why this is-ie she isnt judging us) and providing a healthy alternative for less money to help give them the tools to get out of a nasty hole. So being the woman she isnt didnt sit and moan but got on and bravely ventured where many have been before and been slated but stepped forth tentatively regardless.
Many of you have contributed hours and hours of research, cooking, ideas, thoughts and completed planners, surveys and willing people have helped in doing it - no mean feat when you consider that most have never met IRL! So my lovely friend is, indeed an inspiration.
Im proud of her and also that she wants so much to help people. Despite my nagging she has continued pretty much full pelt despite just having a baby because she really wants this done.
Most of you have been amaingly supportive and as weezls friend I thank you for that. Some (including me) have questioned some elements of the plan and thats fine - to a point but there comes a point when continued comments, on the same issues becomes wearing. So I would just ask those of you who feel passionate about certain issues/politics of food etc to consider starting a separate thread where these issues can be discussed so as not to derail this thread. One of the great things about usda/50p etc has been the friendships that have been made along the way and the support thats been given It would be really sad if that ethos was lost...
Can we just get back to the task in hand and help bob n shirl?
