weezl, my omelette had peas. Also, gut tells me that it is wayyyyyy too much filling. But I think you're making it more frittata style than true omelette? I make omelette by cooking a layer of eggs, spooning filling on top of 1/2 and then folding the eggs over the top. That would never work with so much filling.0

... and aless and frankie just to check, you're both thinking of this being a frittata to serve 4?
Sorry, it's just I know yours was 1.5 eggs per person Aless, whereas this is only 1 so just wanted to check we were still singing from the same hymn sheet!

I resurrected a thread on old style about using up ready brek and money queen uses ready brek in twinks...
So I'm guessing it was the oil/lack of syrup, gisi and frankie...
right ho, well I'll have a ponder....

And we'll serve with the croatian potato salad and 80g carrots per person?

mmm, that's interesting. Would you still like me to try those cookies a few pages back? I'm assuming that syrup isn't in the budget?0

If you wanted to leave out the cheese or sweetcorn (or to serve the corn as a side) the carrot, grated and put in the omelet, is nice and sweet and flavourful. We used to have carrot omelet quite often when I was younger.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
