Hi, Saas are basically being !!!!!!!s i've had my award + loan since august it was all accepted i have been getting payments fine. I got a letter today 6/2/2010.
Basically saying we need you to send us P60u or a letter from DWP for my mum. And the same for my dad P60u both for year ending april 2009
It then goes on to say exact paragraph.
"It is important that you send these documents now so that we can confirm the award. If you do not provide the supporting income documents we may have to reduce the award to non-income assessed support only-currently £915 in student loan. This would also effect future funding and we would have to recover any overpayments!!!!"
I feel like saas are just being total !!!!!!!s now, they shoulda asked for this stuff like when i done my first application instead of accepting it all etc.

Is it going to be a problem getting them? If you did it online and have applied before, they are probably just doing a check to make sure you aren't claiming for more than you should be.0

Might of guessed you woulda post information that doesn't help.
And yes i did apply online like before.0 -
How does it not help? Applying online doesn't require any evidence to be sent to them. They do do some checks on this sort of thing throughout the year.0

My parents were both self employed and they did this to me every year to make sure that there was no drastic change in income. Just send them the stuff already.0

Just send them the P60s and let them sort it out.
It's ok. They don't like me because I'm against fraud and think SAAS should make more checks on applications and claims to make sure people are not getting more than they should be. Shocking, I know.0 -

I'm in the same boat. SAAS have asked my wife to send information about her benefits. Problem is... she's here on a Marriage Visa, and has no recourse to public funds (i.e. she can't even claim benefits). SAAS asked me about this when I applied.
Anyone know how my wife can get a P60u form? or if she would even have access to a P60u form if she can't claim benefits?
Also, when the SAAS state:
"It is important that you send these documents now so that we can confirm the award. They never specified a time-frame (i.e. 2-3 weeks after date on letter). Does anyone know how long I should expect that I have before I need to send the form to them? I've tried calling them, but apparently their trying to take my loan back so that they can afford to hire more people to answer the phones; I was on hold for 30 mins, then gave up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!0
