posted back in Feb time, been lurking these last few days

our wee honey got 106 in AQE and A in GL

1st choice was BRA, 2nd was Fortwilliam

accosted our postie on Thursday morning, asking if we could get our post at the start of her round (we are normally close to the end), so she came after 8 this morning

we got 2 envelopes - 1 from the Board and 1 clearly stamped with BRA on the front

we have daughter the first one to open... she was delighted

wow its all over, feel quite emotional, we were pretty confident she would get in as our primary principal had told us 106 was equivalent to an A so I was not worried ... but just seeing it all in black and white was amazing

If I got hold of the cat Ruane I would just go mental... all the undue stress we went through and AQE ones created a right ness with that blooming scoring system (we initially thought 106 was like a low b1!!!!) anyhoo those rows are for another day

woooo hooooooo my darling child got her first place, she chose it cos it felt like home

congrats to all who got where they wanted .... good luck to the rest!

I did the same hid franked letter and gave son NEELB letter only. He was so excited got first choice DALRIADA. Lots of excitment now including skype being used to tell grandparents. Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

Hi Portrush dad, my daughter wants Dalriada, what was your son's score so that I can know what to expect? Hope you don't mind me asking but our postie will be ages yet and phone calls from others have already started. Well done to your son:j

Dromore High is an excellent school. Both my cousins went there and they did all right for themsleves. If it's doing A levels now then all the better.:T
