Pooky - its been fine, I was busy Tue/Wed/Thu night either teaching/invigilating/finishing course work so I've not had time to miss him etc. It's only really felt like he's had a night out and only got back as far as his house rather than it being a week away. Hasn't bothered me at all to be honest being here on my own.

Jinky - nothing to be sorry about, this is why I'm asking peeps. Soller looks amazing but it's out of our price range. I'll keep looking though - I'm only half way through the 1151 apartments available the 11 nights I want one!!

not really SRM, just as expensive. Nothing under £500+ for the first week.

Might be the first holiday !!!! up I've made. Portugal flights are less than I paid for Mallorca at the moment and the accommodation is much cheaper.
