Hey MS!
I've used this joke before but apparently Ann Summers sell good vibes!
There is far more to life than money and your sanity, health and happiness are definately some of them!0 -
Good Luck Minnie........
Life for living and if you're living half of it in misery....its just not worth it.
Good luck..I'm sure you'll find another job that will make you alot happy.0 -
Good luck to you, I think it was very brave of you, well done xxMortgage-free wannabe!0

Minnie - Well done to you I say. I'm looking at doing something similar myself (leaving well paid job for very big pay cut) mainly because after getting meningitis earlier this year from them working me into the ground, I've decided that I would rather stay sane, happy and healthy with a slightly later debt free date. We spend too much time at work to be unhappy there. I'm sure everything will work out just the way you want it too.

You see!!!!! You've down the right thing and it will be party time soon!!!!!!! Bet you feel at least 6" taller with that weight off your shoulders!!!!!:jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I snorkled around the interweb last night and randomly sent my CV to a few agencies. The mobile rang at 7.55am this morning with a nice lady asking me to pop along and see her as my CV was "excellent"! Had an interview today after work and by jingo she thinks she can find me another job (better paid than the one "in the bag"). If not, she has offered me temp work at a better hourly rate than the job I'm currently doing! Not the ideal solution, but any port in a storm!
Will send another round of CVs out later on...
Keep the good vibes coming - and SS, yeah, we all know about those good vibes!
Good for you!

I was hauled in to see the rather chubby and wobbly head of department this morning who told me that for the good of "morale" I could go immediately and still get paid to the end of my notice period! "So that's four weeks' free holiday?" I said. He looked ready to blow a gasket. :rotfl:
Apparently, this is routine - they've done it before with other staff.
New job lined up to start in a month, but obviously I have time to look around now as well.
I think the paaaaarty starts here!
:T :j :T :j
Good stuff!! And well done you for saying that to him :rotfl:
Is there something you can do for a month to bring in some extra dosh or are you going to enjoy your time off?!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs.
