Yeah - the 1.6D and 2.0D are the crappy Ford/Pug/Citroen ones lol.
ONly annoying thing with the MK1 Laguna was on the RXE models you had the computer which talked to you.
"the vehicle computer is now checking systems for you"
"warning, fuel level loooooooooooow"
"warning, lights not switched off"

I had a Laguna Estate from brand new it drove well and was comfortable but it was not well built and the service from the dealer was poor ... missing parts, long delays etc never again0
