Torrents To DVD

I recently downloaded a number of Torrents, all legal of course, and have no difficulty viewing them on my computer, however I would like to transfer them to DVD and view them on my TV via my DVD.
At the moment I haven't got any suitable software, what software, free if possible, would members recommend? What type of DVD disk should I use?
Many thanks
Kevin

Providing your DVD Player can read the apprioriate disk, the format of disk itself does not matter (i.e DVD+R, DVD-R). It's the conversion format you use which determines if your DVD can play it
I think for DVD players you convert files into MPEG-2 format. Could be wrong may need some correctionOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

Good point.. my DVD player can play DivX, so I can usually just copy as data to a DVD and it plays fine. Worth checking..0

of course they are

- always looks suspicious but there are legit ones too
I downloaded CentOS 5.0 DVD for installation
I know what you're getting at though, downloading torrents to play on a DVD player does trigger alarm bells. I'll still act on the premise of innocent until proven guilty though
