This would seem to suggest that Black Knight are carrying on the regulated activities of a regulated claims management company without actually being authorised by the Ministry of Justice to do so? This is a criminal offence under the Compensation Act 2006 unless Black Knight are otherwise exempt from the requirement to be authorised. I am sure that the MOJ would at least be interested to know of your experiences Ninja?
I think you will find (that is if you want to help us on here) that there are LOTS of companies operating criminally!!! Take a look through some other threads and see what we mean. Ones that have been operating a lot longer than this one and taking fees also. I think these are the ones that MOJ will be concentrating on now!!

I rang Black Knight and ask whether they were handling my file, it is currently with Watsons. They said to me that although they did have some of Watsons they did not have mine.

I honestly cannot understand the big interest in Black Knight at the moment when there are claims companies that have been operating for years and taking fees (or not) from clients knowing that these cases would never win is seems. MOJ will have their hands full at the moment with them. IF Black Knight are operating illegally then I am sure MOJ will deal with it BUT to me it seems that some on here want to pass blame and push the attention away. Just my view from how the posts look.

LOANCHECK have been operating for a long time and clients do seem dissatisfied with their cases and the way they are handled. ALso there are far more companies that seem to have acted the same and handled cases the same to date and these are the ones that MOJ should concentrate on at the moment. The ones that have already made lots of money from something that is actually looking to be dishonest for some. IF they are looking to tighten the reins then i am sure that they will be looking into "new" firms also.
