I bought a Medion PC approx 3 years ago from Aldi. It has been brilliant.JulianProcter wrote:As the subject of the conversation seems to have strayed to the qulaity of medion products I feel that I can add my pennies worth:
I bought a Medion PC 3 and a half years ago. The spec of the PC was a 3.2ghz P4, 512MBRAM, 256 mb graphics card, dvd recorder. I still have the same PC and have never had any problems with it.
Based on this experience I can only recommend their products.
Regards,
Julian
I also run a Medion PDA with sat nav. Yes the sat nav that is shipped is a little dated, but I picked up the latest version 5 on ebay for about £15, and this has been fantastic. I bought the disc for France from them and this proved to be a real boon on holiday recently. It was a bit pricey at £70 but was worth it (especially as they duplicated the shipment. I was able to get £55 on Ebay for the unused one so mine actually cost me £15 :T)0 -

Be warned, got my pc base unit, having checked that the motherboard had an agp slot, it arrived and the agp slot was not fitted - just solder holes.Phoned them and was told yes it should have one and that they would get an egineer out to replace the board.Next day e-mail saying they had now decided it shouldn't and had cancelled the engineer.Have now been passed from the phone-go to the website and check returns link-another phone number -then given an e-mail address tocontact to see "If they can do anything" I am hoping to be covered by the distance selling regs if not. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -

I did, got it a few months back, one for us, one for parents, the screen keeps freezing on both!
absolute crap freeview box and won't buy from them again. But first, the most asked question:
Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"
A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."0 -
My freeview box seems ok so far. The now/next banner has got stuck but only once. Need to use it more. Anyone got a link to an online review of this box? Can't find much. Just curious.0

You are totally covered by the DSR - Just tell them you want to return it and why.Zaphod_Beblebrocks wrote:Be warned, got my pc base unit, having checked that the motherboard had an agp slot, it arrived and the agp slot was not fitted - just solder holes.Phoned them and was told yes it should have one and that they would get an egineer out to replace the board.Next day e-mail saying they had now decided it shouldn't and had cancelled the engineer.Have now been passed from the phone-go to the website and check returns link-another phone number -then given an e-mail address tocontact to see "If they can do anything" I am hoping to be covered by the distance selling regs if not.

Hi MOZZEMARK here...
This is my first posting, and I've think this website forum is brill, saved loads of money! Anyway, I've been after a 19 inch TFT monitor for ages, and been following the various threads, when I went onto the Medion website, checked out their refurbished items page, and then the PC monitors page... and there was just the monitor I was after, Screen=1280x1024, Response time=8ms Contrast=600:1 and with VGA and DVI inputs... £99.99 + £3.99 postage. Fantastic, and it arrived less than 2 days later! Note this is not a widescreen monitor.:rotfl:
Check it out at: https://www.medion.co.uk
Don't forget to register first... Good luck0 -
