Edit: Couldn't resist, ordered!
That is what I thought and they come with a 12 month warranty.....

I checked by clicking on the more button. It seems the warranty is for 90 days.
This also applies to the PDA.

Be warned that when things go wrong in warranty, 14 days to repair and return means exactly that. Don't expect it back in less time nor will they answer any 'progress' calls within the 14 days.
I bought the PDA when Kwik Save were selling it this time last year. It went back for a repair and they lost it. It took 4 weeks to get a replacement whilst they kept trying to find it. Even the replacement had to go back but this time they repaired and returned it - in 14 days.0 -
Do they offer a refund on refurbished products if when it arrives your not happy or had a change of heart?0

The refurbished Sat Nav PDAs look brand new. In fact I think they are simply unsold stock, rather than refurbs. They work fine as PDAs and Sat Navs and are great value. Quite a bit of cabling though due to the seperate GPS receiver to stick on your windscreen.
Couple of things, the Sat Nav software is getting a little out of date now. Mine had 2004 software on it- so a couple of years behind in terms of new roads/road changes etc.
Also, and more importantly, their customer service in my experience is awful. LONG waits in queues to speak to totally indifferent staff. If you have a problem with an item then I dont envy you.
In my view: if you just need a Sat Nav-go for a dedicated Garmin i3 for around the same price. However if you want a cheap PDA with a (slightly dated) Sat Nav facility then go for this. THe PDA will date quickly though as it has Windows Mobile 2003 on it and most PDAs shipped now have Windows Mobile 5.0.

i got the satnav in dec when it was £130.
the satnav is a bit dated and sometimes it is not always clearwhere to turn but generally it is ok and i am a lot better off with it.
customer service is aweful, you have to wait ages, they lie and are unhelpful.
i had a medion computer baught in toys r us, a pile of junk to be honest even though it was a great price.0 -
As the subject of the conversation seems to have strayed to the qulaity of medion products I feel that I can add my pennies worth:
I bought a Medion PC 3 and a half years ago. The spec of the PC was a 3.2ghz P4, 512MBRAM, 256 mb graphics card, dvd recorder. I still have the same PC and have never had any problems with it.
Based on this experience I can only recommend their products.

I bought a recon laptop at a very good price but there was a hefty scratch on the lid and other scratches around the keyboard. Medion said these were acceptable marks, not to me they weren't!!
The laptop was also faulty but it took ages for them to accept it was, I was not at all happy with their aftersales approach
In the end I did get a full refund, but it was hard work0
