Hi Just wondered whether anyone has or is getting anywhere with complaining to the underwriter through FOS? I have a case in at the moment where the lender and underwriter keep passing the buck to each other. Am wondering if will ever be sorted?

Hi Robbie;)
I have one with the FOS awaiting to be passed on to the adjudicator, so is yours still waiting to be passed on to an adjudicator or is all this whilst the adjudicator is taking a look at your case, if that makes any sense?
Cos I think sometimes this can happen before its passed on from the case work section but I am not too certain. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Yes it's same as you, awaiting an adjudicator. But meanwhile I have been badgering them on the phone, being the impatient soul I am! How long yours been waiting?0

Not long compared to many others here. One is December and the one am referring to here was passed across a couple of weeks ago. So way to go I think!0

Hope you hear some good news soon Robbie.;)
The FOS are trying to make these responsible and I'm sure there are posts on here that some have been successful or have at least gone this direction. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Mine is a bit on the twisty side to be honest, taken out a loan in Nov 2004, the broker Click Finance, although these continue to run other Click loan businesses they would hold no responsibility on the mis selling, although same director etc.
So went back to the lender, of course I had to try, then requested for the insurer/underwriter details, were sent these, these were Hamilton now Avviva, but still wrote to Hamilton, who got back to say NO, they are not responsible, but said the bank was HFC would be responsible........, so round in circles, yet the policy I have shows all details of Hamilton, and to contact the FOS if they do not resolve a complaint in regards of the insurance (that is what was stated in the policy), so contacted the FOS, they told me to submit so they can check on whom to pursue.
They got back within a month, something like that to confirm they are contacting Hamilton for further info, since then its just the letters to say they are waiting to pass this on to an adjudicator. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
