Kittens are supposed to eat more than an adult as they are growing, and most will regulate their own food intake. I have to measure for Noah as he is GREEDY and is at the top of his weight. He is naturally a large cat and the vet is happy but he is also LAZY, your kittens will be racing about no doubt. :j

    Of course :o

    racing...racing...OMG, they are sooooo funny.

Although Charlie has slowed down a bit since having his balls chopped off a couple of weeks ago....It's almost as if he's had a personality transplant!! Poor thing :o

It's almost as if he became an old man overnight....Harry will no doubt chill a little too once he's had his done too. At the moment Harry leaps on him and Charlie is kind of 'oh, !!!!!!, I've played with you for 3 hours already today now LEAVE me alone to rest' :D

If I had the choice I wouldn't do it...it seemed so mean....lol. But they are going to be outdoor cats eventually (if i get brave :o:o:o) so it's the sensibubble thing to do :)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

You have done the right thing. Two entire males would have sprayed, had proper fights and humped random cushions. Rather like blokes really ...

I was hoping my male cat would calm down once his balls got snipped. No such luck *sob* He is a kung fu cat, he literally hi kicks the other cat, he pesters her all the time, poor thing, and if that's doesn't keep his interest then climbing the boiler/doors/stealing potatoes/tipping water bowls/eating plants/attacking the washing/eating tampons/eating dresses/stealing DD's puppy in my pockets/batting food off my fork/fetching the post(no lie he does that)/hitting moving pictures on the TV, shredding cat food boxes to get the biscuits out/trying to get in the bath with me/shredding wallpaper/hiding in the washing basket then attacking my hand as I remove clothes, isn't enough to hold his interest, he may just sleep for half an hour.....

    Wanna swap :p

My male is still under 1, but quite skinny! He weighs just over 5kg, which is 1kg more than the female but she looks like a rolly polly, he doesn't seem to like wet food, though he really annoys me because he crys at the kitchen cupboard with fat cat every morning for wet food and then he runs to the bowl, sniffs it, hits the other cat on the head as he walks by, then proceeds to cry at the fridge for better stuff.

I just chuck down handful of dry biscuits and put out about 300g of wet food for the both of them, fat cat eats most of that, and rarely touches the biccies where as psycho cat barely touches the wet and scoffs the biccies, then helps himself to more if he's demolished the lot.

Oh and they both poo at exactly 3am, usually one after the other. 1 big poo per day each. Not as smelly anymore either thankfully.

I agree with FF that if you are feding food4cats raw and Bozita then your cats are probably getting the best possible diet...and do not need the addition of dry. They will be eating more right now as growing kittens but overall the high protein diet will be more satisfying for them than carbohydrate based food.

Do look into the cat nutrition sites and read up on what constitutes a truly 'complete' diet for cats. I think they will advise addition of salmon oil and Vitamin E when serving the raw ( although food4cats does grind the whole carcass I don't think they add supplements )
You may also wish to add the odd egg...raw yolk but cooked white...and perhaps an occasional treat of chicken hearts for extra taurine.
Of course by feeding the Bozita you will be covering more of these requirements and I do really think we are talking about perfecting an already fantastic diet.

I was looking at food4cats site as doing some investigation into diets. I can't find anywhere saying where the meat is sourced. Without this background its very difficult to decide the quality of the meat (if its poor quality it won't be any better than tinned food) . Anyone know any information or got any links?
