Just to let u know,
I was working on my car today and who should roll up, the same delivery guy, with one box of my wheels, he says the other box i will have today (too late now) or tomorrow.
I checked the tracking number on the box and they had ended up going to milton keynes and luckily the person recieving them rufused to sign so they came back to me. phew, iv learned my lesson though, they will be sent fully insured from now on.
Il let u know if and when the other box turns up0 -

You are lucky! good to hear though as it wasnt your fault really.
Just curious though. what wheels cost £700 (used?):eek:Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
I really cant beleive this, £700 straight down the drain due to the incompetence of parcel force, or more specifically the driver that collected them.
Cant i make a claim against the driver, If they went missing between him picking them up and them being dropped off at the hub it doesnt take a genius to figure out where they went.

You gotta feel sorry for the driver as you were accusing him of theft.
Seems he was the "good guy" afterall0 -
OP - good news that you have got your parcels back. Have PF been able to give you any idea why they ended up in MK?
When the parcels were collected, did the driver attach the labels to them at the time of collection?
The most common cause of mis-routed parcels is when the driver puts the labels on when they get back to the depot and mixes up which labels go on which parcels.
If the parcels had the correct labels on, the chances of both of them being mis-sorted to the wrong depot and not then being correctly re-routed is very small. A few years ago this sort of thing would not have been unheard of, but these days the procedures should be in place to make sure these sort of mistakes get resolved quickly and should only result in the parcels being delayed by a couple of days at most.
Let me know if you need any interpretation of what PF tell you.0 -
Thanks guys, there actually worth more than that used alot of the time, if u were curious they are BBS RS wheels.
I did feel kinda bad that i swore blind he had them, well what he doesnt know cant hurt him.
I tracked the number that was on them when i got the one box back and it showed where they had gone.
And no i dont think he did put the stickers on in my presence.
thanks all0 -
