do you have a program called scanpst.exe on your PC?
If so, run it, point it to your outlook pst and do a scan. If that doesn't work, try OE,Tools, Options, Maintenance, Clean Up, CompactEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

With OE not running, search for outbox.dbx and delete it. That also deletes the messages in Outbox. When you restart OE it will create a new Outbox.0

Try this way.
If your email client (Outlook is an email client) is 'stuck', just going in circles , you more than likely have a corrupt or very large email on the server.
To fix the issue, login to your account through the webmail interface. Normally the troublesome email is the last one at the bottom of the last page. Webmail itself might take some time to load, as sometimes large emails slow everything down then delete the large e-mail.
I have nothing better to do!!!!

try renaming (rather than deleting) the outlook.dbx to outlook.dby, just to see if it resolves the problem.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
