My experience with Windows 7.....

I thought when you instal Win 7, it automatically search for all the drivers and instal during the set-up.You can't keep a good man down...0

I was running the beta and RC, and am now running the proper version. It's been great but recently for some reason there's a problem with the built in LAN. Windows 7 says Unidentified Network (as opposed to Home Network) and sends packets, but does not receive a single one back. Only solution I've found so far (with light Googling) is to power off, removing the power plug, and back on and it works fine.
This is highly likely to be a BIOS, driver or hardware glitch, rather than something strictly to do with MS's part of Windows 7, and the vast majority of the big glitches are. Next step for me is to check the Wake-on-LAN settings etc to see if that's affecting it. Trouble is, it just started on it's own...0
