Ok then another easy solution to stop being given a producer 18 times in one year. After the first time, or first two times, keep all appropriate documents on you. That way no producer is needed.

18 times in a years seems ott, could you not file some kind of harassment claim?
every time he stops you for nothing file another complaint. keep doing this until it stops.

my experiences with the police have been similar to you op. they go out of thier way to find some kind of traffic offence to do you for,but when you report a crime to them or need thier help in any kind of way its the usual lack of interest approach.
why a blown bulb or incorrectly spaced number plate causes great concern to one officer but on the other hand, assault or criminal damage posses no concern to another.

    the drivers an easy target.

Interesting to note that on Sky you can view programmes called ''Road Wars'' and ''Street Wars''. The former shows the police engaging with the criminal fraternity in their vehicles, and the latter the criminals who make life difficult for us all by being drunk and disorderly.

I am now awaiting one called ''House Burglar Wars'', but I won't hold my breath.

18 times in 1 year, very excessive. There is clearly something that marks you out. I've never been given a producer and i've driven some truly crappy looking cars......
Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male:

  • i think either the officer has it n for you, or your number plate must be showing up on some ANPR database.

II'm not racist and I suppose south african wasn't appropriate, but I only used it because the only defining feature I could pick up on was his accent

Perhaps the (south african) police officer has decided you're a bit of a draadtrekker.
