E: 23/05 mcvities dunk or not win gadgets (code needed)

I won a DSI on 30th March and claimed for it a week or so ago. I've just had 2 emails from McVities this morning ref. the claim - one says they cannot process the claim because I sent the wrong wrapper and the other says they cannot process the claim because I have exceeded the number of prizes allowed. We have won lots of biscuits but this was the first claim for a major prize and I am gutted. Perhaps I did enter the wrong code by mistake (it's only their word against mine) BUT we have definitely only claimed one major prize. Since then I have won an IPOD nano but I'm just waiting for them to say I can't have that either! Has anyone else had problems with claiming a prize? It's hard enough to win on this competition and then to get this - I feel like crying! I phoned them up and the lady I spoke to said she would email the handling house but I don't hold out much hope.

It keeps saying exceed your entries for today.i thought we had 5 entries per pack

max of 5 entries per pack over the whole promotion period AND a max of 5 entries per day. only time you can go over 5 a day is with the bonus entries form twin and tripple packs which give you 1 and 2 extra entries respectively.

Click the link as if you are going to print them then it gives you the option 'no printer'

Dear sir/madam

The purpose of this letter is to announce my resignation from dunk or not, effective immediatly This was not an easy decision to make, on my part. The past few weeks have not been very rewarding. I cant even win biscuits.

oh no thats awful hellymart. You can definatly win 3 major prizes and 5 packs of biscuits. So I would assume that if there was a problme it was for the wrong code.I know what you mean about hard to ewin on it. At th beginning found it so much easier to win but now its impossible. I can hardly win biscuits, but I cant claim them now anyways. I do hope you get it sorted and/or atleast get your ipod. xx

Kimmy - thank you for your kind words BUT good news! Today they phoned me from McVities to say they'd spoken to the handling house and the prize would be delivered in the next week or so! No explanation of what had happened, so I didn't question it - I just said a big thank you! So it's definitely worth querying and claims that get turned down as it could be an error on their part. Not counting my chickens though until it arrives...!
