Same here. It's untidy but I can walk around the rooms and am not cultivating new forms of bacteria or salmonella.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
you have to assume there is something wrong really
I am the opposite
I suppose I have OCD tendancies, I cannot sit knowing something needs doing
its not that i am madly energetic, i just cant settle knowing
and i HATE mess of any kind, so i potter away all day, and if i am honest, doing jobs that dont really need doing
but to live like some of these people do, must be terrible
does anyone really know anyone in real life whos house is like that??
they are the extreme, and why has no friend or family member stepped in
i know you cant exactly say, oi even the pigs have moved out
but you would try gentle hints and offer to help surely?0 -
reminds me of the saying
one of those houses where you wipe your feet on the way out.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I love the program too - the messier the house the better I like it! cos Kim and Aggie are soooooooooo funny.
as to my own house?
hmmm, I think its clean and fairly tidy, my OH says its a sh*thouse! but that may mean that i left my knitting on the sofa or i, shock...horror, left the grandkids toys downstairs!!!
depends on your definition of clean and tidy doesnt it???0 -

So I'm not the only one! Lol! My Husband hates the fact that I won't leave a job no matter how small but I feel just like you. I can't leave it
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -
I always think I am pretty lucky
my OH indulges me, in fact he loves it
he is a workaholic, and will make mend or build any hour of the day
he cannot sit still, and although he smiles at me when i am faffing around
i know he likes it
i would drive anyone else round the bend!!

Was watching a repeat today
One of the tips that I must try, is for grease and oil on clothes - Golden syrup - yes I thought naaah - but they got a man's shirt, spread syrup on the stain rubbed it in really well, followed by neat washing up liquid again rubbed in well and it really worked I was gobsmacked my DH has A few T shirts That he uses for pottering about that have grease on them - mucky devil so I am going to have a go tomoz and will let you know if it really does work.
Bye the bye my house is clean but I have two mucky kids who think that an empty space is for dumping their carp on :mad:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
