I know but all the holidays are probably sat on the cc now. We looked forward to holidays as DH is a workaholic (if only he got overtime) its the only time we get to chill out together, and if we stay in the UK its too easy for him to log on to the pc and carry on working.
He has promised to come walking with me tomorrow so maybe its time for tough talking, I only want him to give up smoking, trade in expensive car for a cheaper diesel one and ask for his payrise would be nice if it was back dated too;) Do you think I'm asking a bit much:rotfl:
Ok well off to dream about that backpay and booking my holiday, I have another busy morning ebay ebay ebayMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Hope it went well Herewego, let us know what the outcome was. It's difficult having to get the men on side isn't it. My partner only knows a little bit about my debt, I think if he knew the whole extent he'd go nuts. He know my ex left me in a right financial mess and last year he paid for me and the children to spend a few days in Cornwall. It was only in a lodge but it was a welcome break. He's mentioned it again today but he's on about paying for us to go to Spain on a coach. It's much cheaper and I know he'll pay for the holiday and the spending miney but I feel guilty taking it off him when I'm struggling to get myself out of debt.
Glad to see the e-baying has gone well over the weekend and I hope you manage to sell lots.12/04/2019

Well not done any ebaying today but i think i can squeeze 28 cds on tonight :T
The walk in the wood have I got through to him im not sure but what has come out of 2 hours walking is his car needs to be changed as it on a 3 year scheme where you just pay S**t loads of money out but never own the car and the 3 years is up on 2 may. Due to the job he does he need to have a fairly good car so we have agreed to try and borrow some extra money on the mortgage this is like getting back our over payments (pre LBM we were overpaying the mortgage by £275 per month for the last 4 1/2 years we have about £80k equity). We are going to buy his car outright, i can see you thinking more debt but I also found out his payrise that was due oct 09 is twice as much as I thought and as before he tells me hes going to sort this so not much i can do until it hits the bank.
Holidays we have agreed that if the payrise does come through soon we will plan a break for Oct on new money can pay for that easy with a bit of saving.:j
When i asked him what he thought of the budget he said it doesnt work for him (clearly) but if Im happy and he can see it working £1000 of debt gone and reduced utilities by £60 per month and i havent used my ccs for 2 months.
I think he knows im sorting it but has he had his LBM not a chance but is he going to do as I tell him OF COURSE HE IS, we have been married 13 years this year he knows whos the boss
Red - I let him out the woods but if the payrise doesnt show up soon im taking him backMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

A sneaky drop to 28 CD's to go - a few quickies this morning Ms HWG! (Hillarious thought - are we listing same CDs and competing against each other)
Mr HWG is out of the woods, but is he out of the preverbial woods I wonder!! Only time will tell. I lease my car too (I think thats what you mean) its costs me £179 per month which must seem extravagant but I travel 50 miles round trip to work, do a zillion miles at work (for which they pay me .48p per mile, and as stated previously live in a rural area so need a car that I can depend on and wont break down on a lonely dark road where bad men and monsters could get me. Of course the plan was that expenses would pay car but then I woke up in the real world and it never seemed to work like that!! But maybe one day.....
Have you thought of giving Mr HWG a note for his boss...............
Dear Boss
Where the !!!! is the payrise?
Signed
