Payday is just over a week away money is looking tight, i am supposed to be going shopping with a friend on Monday but i may try to get out of it as the roads are still bad and if i dont use the holiday it will make up for one of the snow days i took so i will only be down by 1 days pay. I also have no money to buy anything and there is nothing i need now except for food nearer xmas.

Cancelling the shopping day sounds like a good plan, will your friend mind very much?

I hope not I may suggest going between xmas and new year to have a wander round the sales, as we will both probably get some money for xmas. I will go and see her tomorrow night test the water i hate letting people down but it would take the pressure off a bit especially with xmas party Friday night.

Was York nice HWG? Me and hubby are treating ourselves in Feb to a couple of nights away and were thinking York might be good, would you reccomend it?

York was lovely we spent a weekend there a few years back, although lots to see its mainly outside so very cold weather is not ideal. I also like Bath and the surrounding area for weekends away.
