You get it at the Thornhill P&R, which is on the way out of Oxford on the A40 towards London. Parking is free for up to 72 hours. The Oxford Espress run the same route - same fares. Both run frequent services 24x70

I have the London Van Guide / atlas from a company called PIE, i'd never heard of them before but stumlbed across their website on the net at xmas. It cost about £10 and I have saved more than that already. I know if I go into London at the weekend where I can park that’s free when on the other side of the road I have to pay for parking.
The Last time I used it, I took the kids to the shaw theatre on Saturday near Euston, 4 of us parked on the north side of Euston Road and saved £6 of meter fees each.
I’m not a van driver – but bought it for my husband as he is a plumber as he was always getting fines and driving me up the wall it’s been really useful for parking zones alone.0

Trying to find out how far out of London it is where controlled parking zones end. I'm coming in from Oxford to stay in the Kensington area and want to leave the car for the weekend, picking it up on a Monday morning.
Was hoping I could park for free somwhere and get the tube in, can anyone recommend somewhere?
I would recommend the shoppers' car park behind the shops across the road from Carpenders Park tube station. You can park there for free for up to 36 hours.
Address: Oxhey Drive, Watford WD19 7SD
I parked there once when I was going to watch football at Wembley. The whole area was like a ghost town when I got there in the morning.0
