Write to the manager, private and confidential, anonymously if you like, say that you didn't buy because of the member of staff.
The manager will know about the problem, but probably can't deal with it, a letter might help him/her to approach the salesman and have a quiet off-the-record chat about his appearance and hygene. Some people don't know that they are causing offense.Dogs have owners...my cat has slaves...0
