Voadfone Anytime Help Please

Hi people,

I am new here so bare with me and i am new to the world of mobile contracts.

I know alot about mobiles and contracts and there terms so that is not my problem but my problem is as follows.

I am thinking of going for Samsung SGH-E900 antyime tariff with voadfonw but what i dont seem to read anywhere or find in there terms is that is it anytime and any network or just anytime to only other Vodafone mobiles same with text can anyone help me out on this one please?

I decided to just go for a small package just to see how i can get on as if i go over i can always upgrade my tariff anytime as long as it is a higher one that i am on.

The one i was going to go for is there Anytime 200 + 500 txts per month as it is only £12.50 for the first 3 months but i can also get the free 512MB card for the phone as long as the contract is 18 months which it is and that the minimum must be anytime 200 + 500 txts.

It also so dont say whether they take the first month out in advance.

What i like about voadfone is that it not like these confusing cash back offers and if they say you have so many month half price etc then that good for a newbie like me as these cashback offers seems confusing

To be honest i think this is still alot to pay for me as i quite a lite user if anyone knows of any othe better deals (dont mind which network it is) please let me know.

Vodafone anytime minutes are to any networks anytime. Texts are to any network. The texts allowance includes GPRS (internet) use as well as video and picture messages.

18 month contract means you get their Stop-the-Clock package which allows you to pay for the first three minutes of a call and get the rest of the hour free (up to 57 minutes max)

For the best deals at the moment, most people seem to have gone for T-mobile Flext which gives you a certain call allowance each month, so if you pay £30 a month, you get £200(I think) call and text allowance. And you can dial international numbers out of your allowance.

If you are a light user perhaps it would be better to go on PAYG unless you want the phone? How many minutes and texts would you be likely to use in a month?
