Were the 16 entries in the startup tab in the tools option of ccleaner ?
Yes.
Think I deleted the other four entries.
Firefox wants me to restart the PC. I will have to leave it for today, kids need to go to bed and I am making mistakes because i've been as this most of the day
.
Thank-you everyone for your help. I will check again tomorrow.
Is IE is set to never dial a connection? (Tools, internet options connections), and check there is nothing in lan settings. Yes All OK
Are you using a hardwired ethernet lead? Yes to one of the Xboxes
Does browsing work eventually? Yes after I have refreshed a few times.
ZA sits between you and the router, it would be the first thing to try. I will uninstall it tomorrow.
Thank-you

PS Have you tried cleaning up your C:/? Try and make sure that your recyle bin isnt full and that any temp files are removed
For internet browser try and delete history, cookies, cache, and temp files
