Hi

Has anyone haggled for an iphone? I just bought one for £90 on a 24month contract at £35 a month. I realised i could have got it cheaper on other networks therefore, I'm planning on returning the phone as soon as it is delivered. I would prefer to stay with Vodafone but since I saw a better deal with O2 then I think its time to leave. Has anyone haggled with them?

The prices for the iphone are determined by Apple so haggling wont work with the networks. You may get a free case chucked in but the handset price wont be reduced. Try Orange, not only has the best 3G network coverage in the UK but its got better price tarrifs than O2 and Voda!

That's not true, Vodafone's Iphone tarriffs are significantly better in some areas than Orange. Sayingthat Orange does have a much greater national coverage, especially in the North.

whats the better deal on O2, just checking their website and its still £89 for the iphone on a £35 tarrif 24 month tarrif, but the difference is Vodafone seem to offer Unlimited Texts as standard, unlike O2 and Orange
    £4988 Lloyds TSB Mastercard
    £400 O/D Lloyds TSB
    £2650 Lloyds TSB Loan
    £5070 Black Horse Finance

Skint, but I have a plan.... an MSE Plan!!!
  • I spoke to someone at o2 who said they can offer it for £30 a month with the 600 minutes and 500 texts
  • Orange have a 500Mb FUP though don't they for the iPhone as standard?
