  • I am getting married in September and we are going to be sending out the daytime invitations this month and then send the evening invitations at the beginning of April. Idea is that we will be able to see if we get any replies from the daytime invitations saying that they cant come, can then decide whether we want to invite anyone from our evening list to the day.
  • One of my sisters sent out save the date cards (made by my mum) to the main people she wanted to invite as her wedding was on a Friday in December so obviously had to get in there before Christmas parties etc. The invites (also made by mum) went out six to eight weeks before the actual wedding.

    My other sister did the same, but minus the save the dates as her wedding was in March.

    Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")
