Hello,

I've got a boxed O2 PAYG sim card pack (not the online kind) that I've had for about 2 years, never used, never opened.

I've just opened it and put the sim in my spare phone, but it seems like it has been disconnected. I phoned it's number that is printed on the back of the pack and it says this number is not in use.

I'm wondering if I phone up O2 PAYG customer services will they will re-connected this sim for free?

Or is it only fit for the bin now?

Nope, it gets no signal so it must be disconnected.

The O2 ones last a year or more, as I asked about some old ones here a while back. Maybe they would reconnect it if you asked, or might send another one free. They replaced one that I sent to a friend abroad, who then had it stolen in another country (he wanted to keep the number).
