Three (3g) retentions!

Hi,

Just off the phone to Three customer services, wanted to request PAC code to get the Flext 35 deal offered by T-Mobile.

I dealt with an indian call center staff, and it has to be said, he really was excellent and did a great job throughout the whole process. No problems with accent either, kudos to Three for employing decent external call centers!

For those interested, using the Nokia 6630, I am VERY happy with the three network - its more reliable and stronger than O2's in York, Coventry AND Newcastle upon tyne! Even works in IKEA Wednesbury and Gateshead with great signal! Thats a bloody achievement in my books as O2 and co cant touch it.

To the point : Mentioned that I was going to flext 35 deal I seen on e2save.

Mentioned how I seen similar packages offering £25/month overall on a 18 month contract with cashbacks, and that cashbacks work for me.

He asked his manager and they were able to match the deal without cashback and a free Sony K610i coming on tuesday! 7 days to change my mind too, on contract or phone. 18 month contract mind, although I dont see them getting much better without the hassle of cashbacks.

If you do try the retentions bare in mind my monthly spendature averages easily £45/month and all bills paid on time via DD, this may effect your bargaining power.

Kudos to Three, long may this excellent service last!
