My late mum had homeserve.
She had a dripping overflow from her cold water storage tank, a faulty ballc0ck.
We were told this wasn't covered but we could call their recommended plumber for a quote,if I recall the call out was around £50.
Cancelled her policy and mine. I now have the flexi cover add on with the BG account. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Your Homeserve cover is only for emergencies, so although it's cheaper, you can't call them out for say, a faulty ballc0ck, as one of the PP's did(wasn't sure if that would get edited out), your BG Homecare is for emergency and non emergency repairs. I would say you have double cover, but the homeserve one is only doubling up on part of your BG Homecare300. Best to save yourself the 99p a month if you have it anyway on your homecare. Unless you're dead handy and could do basic plumbing reapirs yourself. But then, if you were, you probably wouldn't have any?
