ummm older sister has just come to visit and told us she is breaking up from her husband (not originally form the uk) is moving home and is now 'seeing' another young chap 5 years younger than her  OMG...
Oh and I have just posted my 'opinion' on a very controversial subject over on another board
Feel better for getting that out online...
And one final thing, my shoes came for Bunnys party but they may not work
My feet are far too wide
I will have to decide in a few days. I can always wear my work shoes and ebay these, they only cost £5.40 so not worth returning them

You can't go wrong Elfen that's an absolute bargain!
PAP - OMG with your sister.

Elfen, those shoes are all gorgeous but I think you made the right choice. That site is just one huge temptation isn't it? And I think with the jacket, from what I can see from the picture it will also look really stylish left open when the weather gets warmer, perhaps even over a dress or top and skirt. The cut is so lovely... I am coveting it myself now.
I have just been paid, so may join you in a 'rush of shoe-buying blood to the head' moment. At those prices, it's hard to resist.
pap - Sorry to hear about your sister. I think there might be something in the air with relationships at the moment. A couple of my friends have split up from long term partners recently. It's a pretty miserable time of year, I guess.0 -
cuppa, that means I'll have to buy decent summer clothes lol! I do love the military look, but can't usually wear as being big chested means double breasted jackets make me look gigantic! I think I'll wear them with jeans, my new shoes and a printed tee until the weather warms up a bit (and I've slimmed down a bit)
pap, OMG to your sister, not just the hubby going bit, but the 5 years younger boyfriend! And it must be something in the air, people keep splitting up (or round here) getting into fights with their exes.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Hi Elf, they are these, they are really nice but I am unsure how they are supposed to be worn, ie are my feet to wide for them. I have them on but thr outer sides (half way up the shoe) 'buldge'. But the shoes isnt ridged down the sides
You see the most 'formal' I get are something like these in a boys style so I have no idea what they are 'supposed' to be like

I am not OMG at them breaking up, I said from the word go they weren't supposed to marry etc, but I was the little teenage sister who didnt undertand 'boys'. The whole fact of them meeting and marrying within 6 months kinda confirmed that
However it would appear he has been beating her/drinking/abusing her. But the thing that is even worse is she was 'seeing' this chap while (2 months about a year ago) her husband had been deported awaiting decision on his visa/citenzenship  It's all a bit too simmaler/same attitude as my Father had towards my Mum. And as for a 21yr old  Thats what I am more OMG about! But then again who am I to judge

Back from picking 6 year old from school and she's pinched my M&S sushi!
Is nothing sacred? She loves the stuff.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Elfen, I know what you mean about the double-breasted look! But wearing it open with a printed tee underneath would look fabulous. And how about a black roll neck or something? I read that purples and plums are going to be really big in spring/summer as well, so you really did get yourself a bargain.0
