I was in Tesco tonight and we spent £115 on groceries.

To our suprise we were handed a till printed £7 off voucher to save £7 off any next purchase of £50 or greater. Just the excuse I needed to nip to the top floor for the printer I was after ;).

To be honest I don't know exactly how I qualified but we reckon it was for spending over £100. So the moral is if you normally spend £150 or more, spend £100, get the voucher and then buy the other £50 of groceries :)

If anyone has more info feel free to add it :)

i think its a totally random thing, i work on the checkouts at tesco and it gave vouchers out today to people that had only spent £10 or £15
In the end, we decide if we're remembered for what happened to us or for what we did with it ;)

So if you buy All the shopping in small amounts till you get a voucher then use it :)

I meant to add it needs to be validated with a Clubcard so is probaly linked to clubcard use in some way.

I got £4 off £30 this week (had spent about £8), before Xmas I got about 1 a week for 6 weeks but then they stopped, a colleague got £3 off £20 yesterday.
  • We spent about 55 today and didn't get a voucher :(
I can't find anything on their website about it either

I have never had such a voucher when going through self-scan - I've only ever had them going through the normal checkouts. I think I am missing out on quite a few of these because of this apparent Tesco policy.
