one regular sunday meal which needed pre cooking but made sunday lunch simpler was a piece of brisket it could either be pot roasted the night before
along with root veg or made a large pan of soup just put it in a pot along with pulses and veg and simmer till cooked this was usually done the day or night before some big chunks of veg carrot turnip and potatoes these were fished out along with the meat for lunch and soup did on monday always have pudding on sunday as well its a tradition0
