    Thanks for replies everyone.
Some of you I envy cos you've got/had what I want:D some of you are not much luckier than me I've just had a bowl of tomato soup with the last two bits of (expensive:eek: ) organic bread from Tesco. It had pumpkin seeds and green bits in it:rotfl: when I got it out for breakfast yesterday my friend said that when he spotted it he said in his head - not to me 'Jesus what's that?' I'm still laughing cos he ate it anyway.

I've always thought myself reasonably intelligent but I think this site much as I love it has turned me daft. it's getting I won't do anything before referring to some part of it:o must get a grip on myself:D
I am also blaming it for my putting on some wieght due to being less active owing to the time I spend on here:D

Garden-Millie when i read your post I was wondering where you bought lettuce on a roll (like cling film) :rotfl:

all those who are having roasts - meanies for not inviting me over:o :D

All those who like me were unsatisfied - commiserations.

CM hope your cold gets better.

I've just got home from seeing my lovely sister, who had cooked roast beef, yorkshire pudding, carrots, cabbage, peas, roast potatoes and gravy for 8 of us. For pud it was a choice of homemade apple crumble with custard, lemon meringue pie or home-made blackcurrant mousse. Totally gorgeous, even more so because I didn't have to cook it :D

    thanks sis :D

by the way, I'm totally full up now!

Pork Chop with Apple Sauce, Roast and boiled spuds. Carrots, peas and mixed veg - pud was fruit crumble and ice cream. Have also done enough for all of us tomorrow. So can get cracking on cleaning the living room and the boys can watch the tv upstairs for a change.

I've been getting a wee bit stick of my mother as the big move is coming next month ....eek! Thing is my OH and I usually go out for sunday lunch (our weekly treat for all the saving we've been doing;) ) and I've never made one before...is that bad?

My mother usually cooks the joint the night before, otherwise cooks chicken, pork etc on the day. I need a little rota of what I should be doing to keep me on track otherwise I'll be in the kitchen for hours, which wouldnt be best as we have the little one on the weekend and need to get the playdough out and paints! So havent got a lot of time on my hands but I know that everyone else out there manages to do it...it seems impossible!

Don't take any stick, no, it is not bad. It is not impossible to manage - but why not treat yourself to a Sunday lunch out as that is your choice! We all deserve a treat in whatever way it suits our own personal needs. Mine at the moment seems to be buying up babywear in both mothercare and Next and now returning it as DGS3 smaller than we thought!!!!!! My choice!
