Help with finding a pram!

Am 12 weeks pregnant and have started looking for prams but there are so many on the market now. Have been round the shops and nothing really jumps out at me so wondered if you guys could help.
I would ideally like a 2 in 1 parent facing pram as I walk 6 miles a day at least so want to be able to talk to baby as we walk.
Baby is an august baby but the majority of the walking will be done from september onwards when the boys start back at school so would like either a pram liner or a seperate carrycot. Not overly concerned about having a travel system, would just opt for a seperate car seat I think
Would like one that has a bar handles and NOT buggy type handles as after a while I find they get uncomfortable.
Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't consider anything other than a bertini..
Though the M&P P3 (has very comfy adjustable handles rather than the bar.. I have RSI and arthritis and can manage these) and Aria are both pretty good.. Aria is not parent facing though.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I have a My3 from Mothercare and im delighted with it. The My4 is very good too.
My daughter is 9 weeks old and lies flat, the My3 has a liner and apron and is ver snug. The carrycot switches to a seat when baby sits up - very easy to do, just two straps to clip. Baby can sit rear or foward when in the seat too. Handle is adjustable in height, great for hubby. Maxi Cosi seat fits onto chassis too, if you want to buy one. :-)
I have 3 kids now and from all the M&P, Britax, Maclaren and Silver Cross I have owned this is the one I am happiest with. :-)
I got it off ebay for £200 - Mothercare the chassis and pram/seat is about £400.

Hi
I have just bought the mothercare spin as I love the fact you can turn it round to be forward facing with not a lot of hassle, it also folds easily and is quite light. Although in saying this my baby is not due until May and this is only from playing in the garden :-)

I just have a basic maclaren (suitable from birth) however if you are walking a lot this prob wouldn't suit you. Personally, my dream buggy is the silver cross sleepover one. WIth the sprung chassis. My friend has it and it is lovely to push! However, quite heavy if needing to carry it anywhere, and a bit big to chuck in the car boot all the time.0

What is your budget?
I can highly recommend the Stokke Xplory. Watch the video, it shows how great it is:

I can't recommend the Herbie Ziko enough- I'm a bit of a pramaholic and rate that one over my bugaboo. You can pick them up on ebay for a little over £100 2nd hand. It has a carry cot for newborn, which then converts to either a forward or rear facing pram seat when bubs is older. It's very easy to push (I take mine through the woods) I just wish I'd found this pram for my first.
They also come in fab colours- I was getting bored with blacks/grey."Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye."...Miss piggy0 -
If you walk that much a day then I would recommend finding some good wheels! I walk 8 miles a day and have lost count of the amount of pushchairs I have had over the past 8 years (4 children, not just 1 lazy one lol).
The wheels seem to wear a lot, the best wheels I had were on my jane powertwin.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
I loved my Babystyle 3 in 1 pram, used to walk miles with it and it was lovely to push. I used it until I had my second child and have used a Jane Powertwin since then which has also been great.0
