We've got a Wark village up here in Northumberland.Mirror, mirror, on the wall.I am my mother after all!0

Wark is a Scottish word for building/house etc...which makes me think Bro Robert could be Robert Burns and the place he has roots is his house which his father "did build".
The 3rd stanza doesn't make much sense to me...
The final one says NW throught the drink... North West throught the sea? There's a church with a graveyard called Kilmartin Church NW of the Burns cottage, with stone carvings of medievil soliders, maybe that's it?Debts Next, £514 ~ Overdraft, £1100Funds America Pot, £1910 ~ Car Tax Pot, £49.450 -
I'm still on the first line! But... thinking again about children's clock you ask, it could be how you say dandelion, so 'dandy lion'. Wark Castle was beseiged by William the Lion of Scotland (was he a dandy?) - any way, I'm off to pursue William the Lion for a bit and see where that takes me
