Can anyone tell me what the blue square with a G inside is on the main display screen and how to remove it if possible

    On sons mobile (totally different model) has a blue sq flash it means his text memory is full.

    I'd say that it's the symbol to show you are connected to GPRS

    On Samsungs it means you are connected to GPRS, e.g. using WAP or sending a picture message.
