Wait till scrappage ends?

Im looking to buy a new car and have a C1 that is just under 3 years old. Looking aroiund the offers are pretty rubbish if you are not taking advantage of the scrappage deal. In fact most cars seem to have been marked up. Should i wait till it ends? Do you think their will be a new batch of good deals once the sales dry up…

scrappage is creating a shortage of second hand cars.so therefore pushing their price up,scrapping causes enviromental issues as does manufacturing new cars,i have had the same car for ten years.
