Try this from Maplins, have one and use it on an old laptop and even older desktop.
Only a couple of cables 2 mins connection, can now watch films from my pc on my old tv
Did go down HDMI route initially, but took stuff back to Maplins that didnt work and got above. Basically couldnt get anything else to work cause my TV/laptop is ancientA shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

1 last box with the link (for imagefra) as I'd ask you to do photo of TV connections as well!
Your monitor connection is VGA, (most likely)so you'll need cable

It looks like the PC only has VGA connector, but this site http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/televisions/0,39030217,49297378,00.htm shows TV as having VGA connector as well so surely simple VGA to VGA lead would work?0
