Exam Invigilating

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has any advice about how to go about this in Scotland. I had a look at the SQA website but didn't seem to come up with anything.
Thanks in advance for your help and I hope everyone will have their diaries filling up nicely with some extra work.0 -
My Dad contacted a few of the colleges in Edinburgh , after he got made redundant a few years ago, he started off getting semi-regular work, as an invigilator, and then got asked if he would take on the role of Chief Invigilator which involves arranging the roster of the other invigilators.
I'd suggest contacting your local colleges directly and asking to speak to someone in the exam office.0 -

I have just done my first lot of invigilating today. My son started year 7 in Sept and brought home a newsletter asking for people to do invigilating, I was the only one that replied. They have a team of retired people that usually do it so I imagine thats why I have only been offered 5.5 hours this time round but am hoping it builds up. My back killed at the end of the 2 hours but worth it for £8.32 an hour in addition to my 2 other part time jobs!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
