Barclays - Cash Crisis!

Barclays are running out of cash - it's official.

THey are no longer filling cash machines in the Thames Valley, I have heard from a friend who works for the company that fills the machines. THe first machines to run out are likely to be in Oxford, Reading and High Wycombe.

Apparently their suppliers were getting tired of missed and late payments and put a stop on them.

If I had an account with Barclays I'd think very carefully!

Barclays are a massive, well known and obscenely profitable company. Were they to be in such dire straits that they couldn't afford to fill ATMs then we would have heard about it well before today.
