Anyone heard of Taste radar

I got paid today, never known them to pay on a Saturday before.

I got paid at 5.00 today, but only just tuned the computer on.

Unfortunately, I sent £17.01 worth of receipts, plus postage and only got paid £16.51.

No, I've always been paid exactly what I claimed, plus the postage. It gets paid into my paypal account as stirling and there are no paypal fees.

Oh right, I didn't realise that, I imagined it was changed from Euros. Mine has usually been just slightly different from the amount I claimed (I think) so I had assumed it was the exchange rate. Actually, I usually forget the exact amount I've claimed but I will pay more attention in future to see if it is different or not.

Just had a reply from Jelger saying he will look into it and let me know.

I have, just this minute, received two emails from Jelger.

The second informing me that he/she has paid me the underpayment, and the first saying

"I am not entirely sure what went wrong. There seems to be a small
difference between what you entered on the website and what you sent
in in receipts.

But dont worry. I'll assume the mistake is ours."

It then goes on to detail what I sent in receipts, the postage, what I have already been paid and what the difference is.

I have two things to say about this.

1. Taste Radar, and the people who work there, are the best on the internet.
2. If there was a difference between what I entered on the site and what I sent, it could only be my mistake.

Now if I can just find a site that does the same for beer, fags and hookers, I'll be a happy man.

PS. The last sentence was a joke, I can assure you I don't even know any hookers who give receipts

Geordie Joe, I couldn't agree more with your comments about Jelger (what a lovely, polite and helpful chap he is) and his team. If there was a "Survey Team of the Year Award" my vote would be for them :T

Phonegames, Taste Radar is a website where you submit evaluations of the fruit and veg that you buy from supermarkets, in return they pay you what you have spent on the produce, up to a limit. The first few pages or so of this thread have quite a lot of info on it, hope that helps.

Thanks for this thread. It does seem too good to be true but I've just applied to join so fingers crossed. I absolutely LOVE fruit and veg and as a student-to-be, I could really do with some help to pay for my healthy eating habits.
