I didn't think we could review potatoes?

I've been paid twice for doing it, and I've done it again this month.

They are not in the list, so just choose Veg then leave the type dropdown menu at "produce", or whatever the top option is.

Oh right, good to know, I saw it in the rules :D

"You can evaluate nearly all types of fresh produce, as well as fresh cut vegetables. There is only 1 group that is out of our scope - potatoes"

Oh dear, just looked at my spreadsheet and last month I did 4 surveys for spuds and got paid for them all. 2 £1 bags of "ordinary" spuds and 2 bags of 70p new potatoes.

The month before I got paid for 2 bags of ordinary spuds.

I've just checked the rules, not because I thought you were wrong, it was to see if I was doing anything else wrong. I found this

"You evaluate only products that have been bought in supermarkets. Unfortunately, greengrocers and wholesalers are not in our scope."

I've done surveys for grapes bought at my little independent greengrocer, and maybe others too.

Did your greengrocer give you a receipt showing the items? And did the grapes etc have labels with the details needed on the survey sheet? If so, then that's probably ok isn't it? If not, I don't see how you could've done the questionnaire.

I wish there was some way of including loose stuff from the greengrocers as that's what I'd rather buy, but that doesn't seem to be what Taste Radar want.

I got a receipt for the grapes and the came in a plastic box/punnet with a label. I remember them well because they were the worse grapes I have ever tasted. Can't remember the variety, but they were green and from India and I threw half of them away as i couldn't eat them. I really enjoyed doing the survey though :D

You can do loose stuff without a label, but you must have a receipt and it must be from a supermarket.

I'm glad littleange pointed out the rules as I didn't know I was breaking them. It's not worth breaking the rules, and now I know what they are I won't be breaking them in the future.

Yes, you're right, Geordie Joe, this is such a good panel to be on I'm sure we would hate to be kicked off for breaking the rules.

Does anybody know if I could do this from Ireland or is it UK only? It would be really good for my health to buy €25 worth of fruit.

I don't know the answer, but it might be worth asking them

IIRC they have sites for other countries in Europe, so you may be lucky.

The offer is still their, but whether they are taking on more people is another matter.

If I were you I would visit the web site and apply, it will cost you nothing and be well worth it if you get accepted.
