  • My lodger moved out today (well one of them ) anyone needing a lovely bedsit with an open fire?? :)

Updated online electric  dug out energy owl from on top of the microwave and moved it to somewhere prominent - I am suspecting the 'other lodger' is keeping her plug in heater on overnight:eek: but need to keep an eye before I jump to conclusions.

Hugs to those needing some - and there are a few today - xx

Snow meant I couldn't get to my field - after wrapping up like nannoook of the north I slithered back to the office.

Best laid plans and all that.

Must update electricity later on again to see what our daily consumption is whilst I'm watching it hard

We're at 40 units a day at the moment :eek::eek:
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

    Good afternoon all

Well today I will / have
    • Go into work on day off for meeting with contractors - don't really want to but important and 4.5 hours of extra wonga so hey ho
    • Charge phone whilst there
    • Complete and post off mileage and expenses claim so get it paid this month
    • have ventured up into attic (kept sharp eye out for vampires - as in yesterdays post!) and found a few mundane bits for e bay but also uncovered some train set bits that could be interesting so have set OH a mission whilst am at work to try and price them up before taking to dealer on Friday
    • Dogs walked for free exercise and will meet OH at gym this evening to justify annual membership
    • Will put diesel in car at nearby Sh*ll garage that is always competitively priced - have joined their drivers club reward scheme so will collect airmiles on transaction and will use Mr T's CC (transferring money back into feeder account on line before forgetting - this is going well but a bit of a faff :( ) so will earn reward points also
    • Will go to bed at reasonable time as will be tired after gym and have early start tomorrow for training course in Coventry. Retiring early will mean saving on light and heating + will have had shower at gym so win-win really!
Take care all and catch you later

ooooh nearly forgot - have found a fab recipe for a flea repellant doggy massage oil that am so going to try - never like using those prescription ones as always feel they are loaded with chemical nasties (my best friend killed his kitten after accidentally putting dog flea drops on it :( ) - so am going to mix some up and start massaging away - hopefully as they have essentail oils in it they will also be left smelling beeyootiful which they certainly aren't at the moment!

Not much to report today - sorry to hear that some of you are having a bad day.... it'll get better tomorrow (hopefully!)

    My little list..
    • Took lunch to work
    • Actually had brekkie before I went
    • Making storecupboard tea
    • Walked dogs for free exercise
    • Have a nice bath with xmas smellies to have a rest later
    • Check banks
    • Checked jobs
    • Write a little shopping list for tomorrow
That's all I can think of for today
  • Evening all, hope everyone is well and keeping warm. Today I have/will: -
    • Had a NSD :j - really pleased at having a good start towards my 15 planned NSDs this month.
    • Online banking all checked - everything present and correct
    • Spreadsheets updated
    • Got confirmation from BT that I am now on monthly billing which will mean only the line rental will come off each month and I will have no more "we are increasing your DD to cover a ridiculous amount of money that you would never owe us" letters :D
    • Took lunch to work again so 2/2 this week. All lunches sorted for the remainder of the week too
    • Dinner from stores and I've worked out I have enough meals to do easily until Saturday so my first food shop day this month has been almost a week later than I'd thought :D
    • Definitely didn't use as much electricity last month so can afford to pay a little less this month and use the spare cash towards credit card
    • Car still has petrol in it from last month's fill so again, I won't need to fill up as early as I thought this month :D
    • Resisted the urge to buy something on Amazon :A
Not bad for a Tuesday I think. Have a nice evening all. Bye for now!

    :hello:
